Teenage Mutant Ninja Republicans

Susan Combs is sending out an urgent plea to HD48 Republicans for Ben Bentzin. She calls them the fellow Mighty Texas Strike Force members. *eye roll*

Somehow the letter insinuates (sp?...sorry I'm drunk again and can't spell) that Donna Howard is a threat to the values of Texans!! Donna Howard favors public education! Oh. My. God. We need a 'tall' respresentative for HD48. What bullshit and desperation coming from Susan Combs.

If you are in HD48 you better not take it for granted on how well Donna did in the special election and get out the vote. We've emailed this email blast to her campaign so maybe they will respond to us and tell us exactly how Donna is a threat to the core values of real Texans.

We've said it before, we'll say it again. Ben Bentzin, douchebag. (Full email from Susan in the permalink)

URGENT CALL TO ACTION
Dear fellow Mighty Texas Strike Force members,

Over a year ago we saw the success of grassroots leadership as we joined together and traveled across the nation to campaign for the re-election of President George W. Bush. The time has come to once again mobilize and guard against the Democrats’ attacks on our conservative values.

Our fellow strike force member, Ben Bentzin, is now in the final days of a ferocious battle in Central Texas that could impact ultimate control of the Texas State House of Representatives. Ben is a dedicated father and community leader with a clear vision for improving Texas schools.

This race is vitally important. It will determine whether a Republican continues to represent a key district as we head into the special session on school finance this spring. I am asking you, once again, to be a crusader for Republican principles. Ben needs your help this weekend, February 4th and 5th, for his early Voting Task Force. He also must have your help again February 11-14 for his 72 Hour Task Force.

Please contact Travis Griffin or Jeff Mason at the “Victory for Bentzin Headquarters in Austin at 512-477-9821 or via email at jmason@texasgop.org.

Together we can once again ensure a victory.

Sincerely,

Susan Combs

Susan Combs supports Ben 'Vouchers' Bentzin. Sweet!

Does Susan think she's popular in 48? If so, I have a LOVELY bridge I'd like to sell her.

PD,

Why don't you volunteer for him and then make those calls and go door to door telling everyone what a puppet he is?

sabestian at February 2, 2006 8:11 AM

PD, I have yet to hear you give me a sound basis for your Bentzin hatred, other than that he's an R. Instead of just name-calling, give me some facts. If you're going to accuse him of being a puppet, give me some real basis for why you think that (other than that someone you don't like donated money to his campaign). What's a voter to do with everyone on both sides just flinging insinuations around?

anon at February 2, 2006 11:08 AM

anon, it's called common sense. I don't think Bentzin is a puppet; I just think he's on the wrong side of issues that are important in the district. Do I think he'll vote with the Leininger crowd because James has his hand up his ass? NO. I think he'll vote that way BECAUSE HE WANTS TO VOTE THAT WAY.
