Shot through the heart, and Cheney's to blame

Baby, you give love a bad name. Cheney's support for gun control was further cemented this weekend as he shot a friend (and Austin attorney) on a quail hunt in South Texas. Guess you ought to think twice about accepting an invitation for a friendly hunt with him next time.

Do you think we can talk the Veep into taking Tom DeLay out for some "squirreling" next weekend?

I wonder what would happen if Bobby Knight and Dick Cheney went hunting together?

Is it quail season there? And when the American Bar Assoc. voted against W/Cheney yesterday did they know Cheney was armed?

I bet there is no investigation or ticket...
I wonder if someone payed for the trip or hunt? Armstrong Ranch not cheap.

The best comment was posted over at itpt - Cheney thought it was Dan Quayle.

In retrospect, I guess it's a good thing Cheney did get those five draft deferrments back in the 60s ... otherwise a lot more soldiers could have been injured by friendly fire.
