King George Issues Edict on U.S. Ports

kingGeorge.jpg Once again, we think someone ought to remind King George that there is such a thing as checks and balances. Hell, the Congress can't seem to convince him. He's 'brushed off' criticism of the deal that would put a UAE company in charge of some U.S. Ports, even going so far as to say he would veto objections if Congress passed a law banning the deal.

George hasn't had the balls to veto anything his entire term and a half, not that he's had to because the Congress has been his willful puppet the entire time, but still. To see a firestorm of criticism from politicians and the people and to simply brush it off because you have ties to the company and couldn't give a rat's ass what Congress thinks is unbelievable.

Remember the good ol' days when our government was an elected representative democracy? Oh, the simpler days.

Why are we blaming Congress, or the President. We elected them. Ok, I stole that from an old George Carlin skit where he said he had every right to complain because he didn't vote and therefore was blameless.

What do you mean WE? I've never voted for the guy....ever. So as our country goes to hell, you who did may thank yourselves for the state we are in.....the sqandered goodwill, lives and money. Just think what this country could have done with the approximately $5.6 BILLION PER MONTH we are spending in Iraq, not to mention the 1 million per year we will need to spend on EACH soldier with a serious head injury for the rest of that person's life. I understand there are approximately 5000 soldiers in that category. 5000 X 1 million could have funded a lot of stem cell research and fixed a few levys. And those brave kids would have lived their days without the suffering they will now endure. So watch who you are calling WE.

BTW WE may like this photoshop job almost as much as the Cowardly Madla, if that 's possible. On second thought....nah.
