So James Leininger Chris Hatley is running against Charlie Geren in the Republican primary. In a recent press release, he says Geren isn't conservative enough because he is so "pro-homosexual", referencing a site called Gay Rights Info. This website, which grades lawmakers on votes pertaining to gay rights, gave Geren a "C".
Chris Ass-Hatley is attacking Geren because he didn't get a low enough grade, apparently "most Republicans have either an F or an F- running total from Gay Rights Info".
Just so you know, the reason Geren has a "C" is because he voted for the Hate Crimes bill in 2001 (HB 587, 77th Legislature), he voted for the Non-Discrimination in Public Education Bill (HB 1296, 77th Legislature) and he VOTED AGAINST THE BOOTY DANCING BILL.
Since when does being conservative involve voting for discrimination and for stupid, idiotic bills that regulate cheerleaders? Oh yeah, and Rick Perry signed that "pro-homosexual" Hate Crimes bill.
Just to refresh your memory, the last time Leininger went after people that voted for the Hate Crimes Act, he sent out mailers like this.
Republican homophobes are almost always secretly gay. It's true. They are on the down low. Sorry dudes, you've been outed by the right wing Republican women who are so frustrated that they are coming to Democrats for sex.
