'08 Matchups

-From The Red State we learn that Virginia Governor Mark Warner will be in Austin on Friday to raise money for the TDP. For $125 you can have a breakfast taco at Guero's with a guy who might be president someday.

-Our own Kay Bailey Hutchinson was one of 8 women identified as a possible contender for the presidency in '08. Then, our governor squeezed himself into the story:

"Mr. Perry seemed to encourage the idea that he might make a fine running mate for the party's nominee in 2008, with an "I'm a conservative outsider" speech this month to a major conservative gathering in Washington."

The entire state of Texas just spit out their coffe and let out a collective HA!, then proceeded to fall to the ground laughing uncontrollably. I always knew Rick perry was out of touch, but wow, that man is cooking on another planet.

Perry's not electable to national office.

But his hair, unfortunately, is.

I thought his hair was destined for the Bullock History Museum when he leaves office.
