Get your own damn logo

Van Wilson, a Republican candidate from Lubbock has not only decided to steal the "W" logo, but now he's insulted every Volkswagen owner on the planet as well. Vote Republican, we're not clever at all!

As if his logo for his campaign weren't lame enough, here are some of his position bullets:

- Improving public schools
- Lowering property taxes and cutting wasteful spending
- Protecting private property rights
- Defending Second Amendment freedoms
- Voting for pro-life policies
- Cracking down on illegal immigration
- Fighting in Austin for our conservative values

God, could we get to our quota of douchebag Republicans already? He doesn't have a web site so don't bother trying to find it. In Lubbock they apparently still campaign by going around dust fields and standing on overturned number 2 washtubs. (Snap!) [viabloglubbock]

"Immigration is a federal issue, you'll have to contact your Member of Congress. Can I tell you who that is? I know I campaigned on that issue, sir. Yes sir, I don't like those Mexicans either, sir. But it is a federal issue. Sir, I'm just a dumb redneck who knows State Reps can't do a damn thing about immigration so I just said that on my campaign so dumb rednecks like you would vote for me."
