Kinky played up Sam Houston, and then Strayhorn took off last week for the San Jacinto monument to tie herself in to the whole independent governor thing. Bell's been all over the map as far as ethics and Tom Delay goes, so today Bob Gammage launched his tour in Sugar Land, Tom Delay's backyard, to try and get a hand on the ethics reform thing.

So yeah, Kinky/Strayhorn fight each other for Sam Houston and now Bell/Gammage fight each other for Tom Delay. Rick Perry, of course, is opting for the Pappy O'Daniel approach by running on the 10 commandments.

Finally, someone at the Perry campaign fucked up and sent me an email inviting me to his re-election swing stop in Round Rock:
