Members of the Austin Lesbian/Gay Political caucus voted to endorse 13 candidates for the primary elections on March 7, 2006.

Nineteen candidates sought ALGPC endorsement by submitting a questionnaire and then appearing before Caucus members Monday (Jan. 30) evening. Candidates who received 60 percent of the vote of members present won endorsement. The Caucus voted to endorse both Eric Shepperd and Elena Diaz for Travis County Court at Law No. 2.
