Dec 27
Happy Holidays . . .

We had a merry Christmas (albeit too short), and hope that y'all had a Happy Hanukkah, Kwazy Kwanzaa (it's from a "Simpsons" episode), etc. As we look forward to the new year, let's not forget about the poor. While Congress has "saved" Christmas, they have diverted money from programs that would help the less-fortunate (what's new?). If you would like to donate money before the end of the year (and thus deduct it from your 2005 taxes), time's a wastin'! Here are a few non-profits we recommend:

- Capital Area Food Bank
- Habitat for Humanity's Hurricane Response
- United Way Capital Area
