God Smites North Texas

burn.jpg
Fire has ravaged North Texas and parts of Oklahoma devasting some entire small towns. God's spokesman refused to comment on the specific nature of the smiting, but did say, "God's policy is to smite those communities full of sin and false prophets. The Lord has no specific comment on the fires in Texas and Oklahoma and reminds people that He works in mysterious ways."

Funny that God thinks there are more sinners at the Methodist church in Cross Plains (burned to the ground!) than say in Montrose or the Cross roads in Dallas. Maybe that's why the Gov went to Cross Plains -- looking for sinners!

I was driving cross-country and had to dodge the flames. Rather than risk God's wrath I found some sinners in Brownwood and had a beer and tasty Tex-Mex!

Clearly God has judged North Texas and Oklahoma and found them wanting.

Now wait for Craig Estes to blame the fires on meth addicts and call for increased prison sentences to put out the flames.
