Andy Not Out in HD48? Counting Your Chickens Before They Hatch.

*Originally posted 10:44 p.m. 12/06/05*
The reports of Andy's demise from the HD48 race were greatly exaggerated. Andy's in. True, there was an effort to come together with one Democratic candidate for the Special Election to take on the Republican, but not everybody was willing to throw their support behind a candidate and so now everybody's in.

Look for more as Andy Brown's campaign gears up for a short-race and injects new enthusiasm into what should be an exciting primary.

So...the Statesman article where he said he wouldn't run...that's no longer true? He's retracting his statement about no longer running? Did they get a second ruling about the special election?

Good questions, Phillip. Andy is out, whether he knows it or not. Moving into the district five minutes before the election, bowing out, bowing back in, being a political hack... not a good campaign strategy.
