Nominations now accepted

toty1.JPG The Bloggers of Texas Politics are gathering steam to promote the Texan of the Year. Your nominations are being accepted through November23. You'll probably start to see this banner on your favorite blogs for a while, so click on send in your nominations through your favorite Texas political blog. Already, you'll see great blogs like Off the Kuff, Brains and Eggs, Eye on Williamson County, The People's Republic of Seabrook, Common Sense, Houston democrats, By the Bayou , The Agonist and many more will hopefully join the effort to get our blog readers to nominate.

If you are a political blogger that wants the html code to put the entry and sidebar graphic on your site, email me.

If you're a Texan...nominate someone for Texan of the Year: Blogger Style by sending an email to us.

Nominations can be someone that has impacted Texas for the better or worse. Whatever your reason, on December 1st the finest Texas political bloggers will write about them and we'll bestow some honor on the recipient. Who says Time Magazine is the only people that get to do this? We've seen what shits they've come up with and we think our readers can do better.

BTW...it's The People's Republic of Seabrook, not The Seabrook Report. Nitpicky, I know, but we bloggers are a stickler for accuracy, no??
