Senator Frank Madla "emphatically" declared that he's gonna try and stick around for another session while trying to dispel rumors that he'll retire. Taken from his press release:

"Madla said that rumors have been floating in Capitol circles lately that he will retire are unfounded, 'Capitol rumors on their best day are more wrong than right. In my case, they are completely wrong.'"

Funny, back in May I heard a rumor that you'd grow some balls and vote against HJR 6. I see your theory holds strong. I also heard a rumor that you'll win in your primary. We'll see how that one pans out.
