As if Karl Rove wasn't in enough trouble, now he's gone and told James Dobson something about Ms. Miers: something that Dobson says he "probably shouldn't know." We infer that it is something to the effect that Miers is strongly opposed to abortion. Now the judicial committee wants Mr. Dobson to testify as to just what he was told about Ms. Miers.
Oh, and Ms. Miers went to two church services yesterday. Those darn Episcopalians just ignored her, but she got recognized at her fundy group:
When Cornerstone minister Ron Key called attention to her presence, the 150 worshippers gave her a standing ovation, their claps echoing through the hotel ballroom that temporarily houses the church's weekly services.Shame on us for going to church to worship God and not politics.
She's getting confirmed. Next.
"Shame on us for going to church to worship God and not politics."
Best one-liner I've heard from you guys all year. Hell, that's the best one-liner I've heard from anybody all year.
