Then we find out that Harriet Miers has withdrawn. Honestly, we are of two minds about this. Part of us knows that she was just not qualified at all, but part of us is very wary of who Dubya will pick next. Priscilla Owen, NOOOOOOO!!!!!

Yikes mama, everything is coming down around our ears. Little Georgie is screwing up big time and now the 'stros got swept. Maybe our dynasty is really a house of cards.

John King on CNN brought up a good point about the need for documents. Republicans have supported Executive Privelege when it came to Al Gonzales and Bolton. When it came to Miers, senators like Brownback did a 180. A flip-flop if you will.

It is kind of scary who could be nominated in her place. Ann Coulter says Janice Rogers Brown. My money is on Edith Jones.

I also don't think that Miers actually wrote her withdrawl letter. It sounds totally different from the other notes we have from her. I think Andy Card wrote it.
