Now that Baxter is out of the race for HD-48 here in Austin, there's rumors afloat that Kelly White may be rethinking her candidacy. She had been behind Donna Howard as her campaign treasurer, but is floating the idea of running. Texas Weekly is also reporting "you might also believe that the Democrat with the best combination of name identification, grassroots support and money would have the best chance. And since she ran before, you might pick White to bear the standard, even though she's endorsed Howard and told friends and supporters in emails that Howard would make a better representative than she would." Kelly, if you are the candidate, can we come along when you toilet paper Bentzin's house?
Incidentally, a trip to www.DonnaHoward.com takes you to a self-described "Psychic Animal Communicator" and "Psychic Ghost Communicator". Maybe she could shed some light on when Perry's gonna call the special election, and which D is gonna take on Bentzin. I couldn't fina anything for Kathy Rider, but Andy Brown's site is all fancy looking, check it out at www.VoteAndy.com. Also, did you know he was at the John Edwards' speech? Why didn't you stop by & chat up us bloggers in the back Andy?

I think the Kelly White endorsement of Andy was based on certain misrepresentations Andy made to her about other candidates. And he still hasn't shown what he has to offer now that Todd is out of the race.
what misrepresentations would those be, exactly? and what's she doing going on an opponent's word, anyway. "Don't endorse my opponent, she's a (add insult here)." please. she should have done her homework. if that's true about andy, that's just smart politics.
maybe if you took 15 seconds to google "donna howard state rep" you would find her campaign website at www.votedonna.com instead of representing that she doesn't have one. I know you have a thing for Andy, but gee...
Kelly White failed to beat Baxter last year because she ran the worst campaign ever. After she got beat by a handful of votes, she failed to fight for a recount. She signed on with Andy Brown earlier this year but failed to honor that commitment. She helped encourage Donna Howard to get into the race and even serves as her campaign treasurer, but is now wavering on that commitment, too.
Why would anyone in House District 48 think Kelly White would stand up for them? She would make a terrible legislator because she's duplicitous, opportunistic, and can't be trusted... just like Todd Baxter.
It's obvious that no one can trust Kelly White. She wants to be the center of attention so badly she's desperately trying to spark a grassroots movement. You lost, Kelly, and you deserved to. Now go away. (If I were Donna Howard, I'd dump her from my campaign.)

Where was Kelly three months ago? Oh, well three months ago she was screwing Andy Brown. After endorsing him she yanked it and endorsed Donna Howard.
Kelly didn't have the balls to run when it was tough and now that it's easy she wants a state rep seat handed to her on a platter. Well tough potatoes Kelly.
