It was refreshing to see a politician walking the Convention Center unescorted. Just checking in with refugees and volunteers to see how it was going. Wearing an Austin Fire Department t-shirt even. No press. No lackeys. Just him.

I see with Wesley Pruden's column in the Washington Times that the Ministry of Truth has finally gotten back on track with the "truth"--"It was all those dirty liberal's fault!"
It appears that the Wall Street Journal and a few other official voices haven't gotten the message yet, but I'm sure they will be back on the truth (i.e.-the official line) by tomorrow.
Of course, none of this would have beem allowed to happen if some bureaucrat in DC trying to get him to pay his taxes hadn't distracted Minister Karl!
