So the Senate's doing nothing except having tea w/ the superintendents, the House is doing nothing, pretty much everyone is sitting around doing nothing. (Except the poor staffers in the Ed Committee hearing who have to sit around and listen to a bunch of nothing.) Nothin' from nothin' means nothin.' I've had too much of nothin'. And nothin's gonna change.

This makes 6 special sessions that have been spent on absolutely nothing under this governor. Last time he spent 4 special sessions redistricting with the idea that partisan ideology would rule the day. Well, even Republicans are not all alike. Hats off to the legislators who had the nerve to vote for their districts and didn't let themselves get cowed by their so-called leaders, Dewhurst and Perry.

I have said before the out the Legislature gave Perry was a big mistake and allows him to take credit for funding schools at a higher rate, blaming Demos for killing property tax reform, and saying Strayhorn use to be a man....he will do it all...
