Instead of presenting the image of a strong and determined Texan, Dewhurst whined like a pouting 14 year old today in his press conference.
He says he's giving 24 hour notice that the Senate will bring up SB8. But, it's going to be hard to pass out a bill that relies on a revenue bill that sure as hell ain't going nowhere in the House.
24 hours, eh?
What time tomorrow does his plane leave for Alaska?
Did PD change the text or am I missing something? The post just says a whining 14-year-old. No gender.
But boy or girl, what the hell is he doing? Surely he can't need the per diem that badly. The Senate can meet and whine and stall the inevitable all they want, but this horse is dead.
PD did change the text. Deleted 'girl' and left it 14 year old. Same thing, less misoginy (I don't know how to spell that word)
Gyn, not gin, is the key to misogyny. I can understand the confusion, though
PD, first you were upset with Craddick, because he was refusing to do anything. Now, Dewhurst is trying to move the ball down the field. Rather than applauding his efforts, you say he's "whiny." Decide what you want. Furthermore, I would argue the guy's a pretty strong leader, since the Senate's discussing the bill as we speak. You know how much everyone in there wants to go home, themselves.
Johnboy Galt,
A strong leader, huh? I guess that's why the Senate has been bending over for the House in conference committee. This guy couldn't lead Micheal Jackson to 8 year old's slumber party.
You know, my darling, there are some pretty whiney 14 year old boys out there, too. In fact I've heard boys of all ages whining at one time or another. Sooooo, maybe you can re-think the comparison of an whiney politician with a 14 year old girl. I know some pretty cool (not whiney) 14 year old girls. Just saying, is all.
