We had to do a Google Search to find the Texas Supreme Court's website. First, the site is HIDEOUS. But, we managed to find the bios of the justices so as today as oral arguments begin, here's the link so you can do the same.

Rawhide (our new blogger, see below) posted a great entry this morning on what's going on today, we just wanted to add this quote from today's Statesman:

"Deciding matters of education policy is not the appropriate role for the judiciary," said Ted Cruz, the state's solicitor general, who will argue Abbott's case. "The text of the Texas Constitution expressly assigns that responsibility to the Texas Legislature."

Ted must live in a cave somewhere because the Texas Legislature hasn't been able to fix schools since they stopped being a one room cabin on the prarie. We hope Ted and Gregg have better oral arguements to the Supreme Court besides, "Butt out, this is totally not your business."
