One of the lighthearted moments in the otherwise dark debate on HJR6 was Senator Leticia Van de Putte and her proposed amendment to the definition of marriage to also require that heterosexually married couples be required to have at least some sex.

The Daily Kos picks up this idea and runs nationally with it to protect the sanctity of marriage. It stands to reason that with more sex within the confines of marriage would result in more intimacy in relationships, less prostitution, better mattress sales, and an increase in smiles amongst grumpy old white men.

Somehow you can tie this to the medical marijuana thing with the Supreme Court and all that but dude, we're totally lighting up a fattie and don't have time for all that reading.

But, the DailyKos story even has a poll about sex. Awesome. Although it's a little early to get my sex poll on.
