We don't find that very surprising, we've seen him...sometimes we wonder how he can understand how to find his ass with both hands and a map. So, it turns out the Chief Justice didn't threaten Keel.
What he did say was, "Keel, you sorry son-of-a-bitch. If you're petty high school girl revenge crap kills this bill you'll be made a laughingstock because everybody knows I'm a mild-mannered and respected jurist and you're a freakazoid."
So, business as usual.
Terry Keel is a bully and obnoxious jerk with political threats on the brain.
It was Keel, after all, who told Tommy Merrit he would end his political career if Merrit persisted in trying to bring the ethics refom bill to the floor of the House.
Two words for Keel: Good. Bye.
The Chief can kiss my ass. It's unbeleivable how this issue has any legs at all. A pay raise for people making over $100,000 a year and play golf half the week? There is NO lack of qualified attorneys who want to be a judge and if a Judge wants to leave and make more money, so be it. But don't take a public service job that you campaigned and worked for and then be a whiney bitch about the salary. If the Greedy Chief Justice wanted more money, he should have stayed in the private sector and denied the appointment.
