Why has no one reported the crap that Buddy Jones and Hillco have been up too? They yell in DC about Delays lobby connections. How about Craddick making calls for his election as speaker from Buddy's house. Kings committee dinner....etc. Craddick also made sure of his godfather Beecheral's funding of Southwestern Med school where a Chair is named for Craddick. UT Southwestern got more money that all the UT Med Schools in Houston combined.
We don't know why no one is reporting about this. Let's ask our readers to provide some input, shall we?
just wanted to make sure it was a reader before blasting them totally - always, always ask yourself how on earth you found these things out in the first place if "nobody is reporting them." Trust me, I've seen it. Somebody has reported them.
Is this the same Beecheral whose registered lobbiest is none other then Bill Cerveha, whose illegal contributions help elect the current speaker??? Oh what a tangled web one weaves.
Yes, drinks, it was a reader that sent that in. I only remember a brief mention here or there, but I think it'll pick up more steam, won't it???
I have heard that Craddick was at Jones mansion on election night and the next day making the calls to members for their speaker commitments. Also heard Earle may ask or has asked for the phone records because of those calls were paid for by Jones that is an ethics problem and a violation of law.
As if it makes any difference now, but one reason UTSW med school receives so much $$$ is that 1) it has the largest med school class in the state (perhaps the country), and 2) it selects, in its application, for students who want to practice in underserved/rural Texas areas. The underserved/rural thing is what allows UTSW to have such a large class size, and in turn, drives the amount of $$$ the school receives.
