Bring It On!

strayhorn.jpgCarole Keeton Strayhon announced her candidacy for Governor of Texas today at a rally held near the Capitol. Strayhorn said, "Now is the time to replace this do nothin' drugstore cowboy with one tough grandma. Rick Perry has promised any challenger in his own words, and I quote, 'A bloody brutal campaign.' If that is the campaign he promises to wage, bring it on." [AAS]

Strayhorn's official announcement came on the heels of Kay Bailey's announcement she'd go back to the Senate. Senator Hutchison said, "Goddammit y'all. I wanted to come back to Texas cause Washington is a shithole."

Oh, and Governor Perry did something today, too. Funny, though, we are going to let Strayhorn have the 'news cycle' on PinkDome. All day today and tomorrow. (image of PinkDome with one finger salute pointed towards Capitol inserted here)

» While I was ass-deep in music and hula-hooping hippie girls yesterday, Comptroller Carole Keaton-Strayhorn announced that she will seek the office of Governor of the State of Texas. This is shaping up to be one of the best gubenatorial races

Perry no longer watches for the thousand pound gorilla and now has to tangle with a pit bull. Should be fun.

I saw Mr. Pretty Hair on TV the other evening and he looked like crap. Sleeping on the sofa and those late nights out must be taking a toll. Maybe he and the misses should take a holiday - maybe to San Francisco, where they could both recharge their batteries. Yea, thats the ticket.

I think what you mean to say is that there really isn't any way you could possibly be for someone like that.
