Catty. Chatty. And Occasionally Trashy.

We're Back at the House today

The parliamentary attempt to shut down the House failed. We're glued to the proceedings waiting for the most anticipated bill of the day. In the meantime Hope's bill on bullying FINALLY makes it to the floor. As we watch, click the extended entry and hit refresh for new posts on this entry.

We're finally on 1706 and the Dems are lining up to get their opposition to this bill entered into the record.

Rep. Thompson once again makes a great statement. Even Yvonn Davis had a pretty good statement. Mark Strama was very, uhm, demonstrative in his opposition to this bill.

At 4:46 p.m. we finally get a record vote on 1706. 78 ayes, 67 nays has finally passed. Let's see if those 11 Senators can keep it from getting any further.
