Tonight's Event Calendar

Free screening of "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" tonight in Austin. Details after the jump.

Texas citizens will say "No!" tonight to the "nuclear option"
and to extremist judges at a free screening of "Mr. Smith Goes to
Washington." The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Alamo Drafthouse
Cinema, 1120 South Lamar. The movie will be preceded by a brief panel
discussion of the filibuster, the attempt to eliminate it, and the very
high stakes in the fight. Admission is free, with the Alamo
Drafthouse's tasty food and beverages available for purchase.

The event is hosted by the Texas Office of the People For the American
Way Foundation and NARAL Pro-Choice Texas.
