Who do you think is the worst House D?

Mr. D at May 29, 2005 1:09 PM

Ak Edwards is the worst D in the House...by bye bi Mr. Edwards...join the Ron Wilson Club

Jake at May 29, 2005 1:19 PM

There are soo many to choose from...mmmmm...let's see...I would have to choose Yvonne Davis. Her arrogance and dumb questions that lead absolutely no where, not to mention that voice, definitely bumps her to my number one 'big dummy' spot.

Anonymous at May 29, 2005 1:21 PM

Did Coleman just tell the House that Giddings does meth?

Who is hotter? Leo Berman or Robert Talton?

Gloria Hole at May 29, 2005 1:24 PM

Berman has a big rear and walks like a chicken...talton may be homo-hater, but he is fit and has a defined jaw line...I am going to go with Talton!

Anonymous at May 29, 2005 1:34 PM

What time will the House Sine Die tomorrow?

Sam at May 29, 2005 1:37 PM

Get back on the topic...I think Berman is hotter...i love the way he trys to trick all the D's from the back mic it just turns my crank

Tell Ms Thompson she should wear only vertical stripes

Anonymous at May 29, 2005 2:21 PM

Odds on a special session next week?

MirrorInTheSky at May 29, 2005 2:48 PM

Please, since when is HillCo NOT a member of this body... or any other body controlled by filthy pharmaceutical money?

GimmeThats at May 29, 2005 2:50 PM

We see we aren't the only ones a little punchy. Even the Quorum Report is getting sassy with their daily buzz headlines.

Oh, and to anonymous...YOU tell Ms. Thompson to wear vertical stripes, cause the smack you'd get is something we personally are not into.

Special Session. Yep, week long on school finance. But when?

PinkDome at May 29, 2005 3:59 PM

School finance in the summer, when teachers have little else to do than camp out in the Capitol's hallways? I think not. IF it happens, it'll be in the fall, when school is in and the members can blame the Supremes for any changes. Even then, I think it will depend on the ruling--Perry probably won't want to risk being blamed for a third failed attempt to resolve the issue.

Bubba Galt at May 29, 2005 4:43 PM

How about a topic of substance--hottest messenger/sergeant?

Bubba Galt at May 29, 2005 5:43 PM

Does Phil King have the mic very much? With him addressing parliamentary inquiries using lines being fed to him from the side, I feel like he's reciting wedding vows.
(sotto voce) "Motions will be considered in the order they are received..."
PHIL: "Motions will be considered in the order ... the order ... line?"

Jason at May 29, 2005 6:29 PM

Without question the worst D in the House is Garnet Coleman. That guy is always trying to pretend that he is a leader but he never does anything.

Demlover at May 29, 2005 6:35 PM

I vote for all the hot hispanic sargeant boys... VIVA LA RAZA!!!

GimmeThats at May 29, 2005 7:09 PM

what about chavez getting removed from the senate lobby last week for threatening staffers and pitching a fit?

bumdumpster at May 29, 2005 7:29 PM

Special session? I think not.
Goodhair's already made it clear that he'll settle for a budget that puts a few hundred mill into his two (yep, he gets a new one) slush funds. The lege gave him what he wants.
Craddick & Dewhurst are miles apart on school finance & taxes. Rural R's have made clear they're not going to vote against their schools again. Everyone's tired and ticked off.
They're heading home, folks.

Capitolist at May 29, 2005 7:55 PM

Where is there so much hate for women and minorities....mmm I wonder where those post come from?

Jake at May 29, 2005 8:06 PM

who's hating on minorities? i just love hispanic sargeants.

GimmeThats at May 29, 2005 8:25 PM

I love me some latinos tambien

jake at May 29, 2005 8:50 PM

How about the TRB fight. Craddick kills Democrat stuff, gets his conferees to visit the Senate. Three Senators sign but not the Chair of Finance, bill is filed late, missing layout rule. Adds big bucks to UT Austin who uses the PUF like a "cheerleader at a drive in" Leaves A&M main campus out. Sticks a few others and now this bill will be taken up tomorrow as a technical correction. Amazing how the process works when you have no regard for the process. Midland get any money in this too.
