Random ex-presidential sightings

In my email from the Travis County Democratic Party (yeah, yeah), I read that Senor ex-Presidente Bill Clinton will be in town to sign his book My Life. I know you are all so eager to attend, so after the jump is the information.

PRESIDENT CLINTON AT BOOKPEOPLE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRESS RELEASE: BOOKPEOPLE
THURSDAY, APRIL 28, 2005

Meet President William Jefferson Clinton at BookPeople. President William Jefferson Clinton will be signing his memoir, MY LIFE, on Thursday, May 5th at 10:00 a.m. The Austin signing was added to President Clintonâ??s schedule late Wednesday April 27th. This event will be handled differently than most book signings at BookPeople due to security concerns.

To have a book signed, all customers much purchase a voucher/line ticket at BookPeople. These vouchers will be exchanged for books signed by President Clinton on Thursday. Due to security constraints, we regret that we are unable to have previously purchased books signed at this event. Arrangements will be made for customers who have previously purchased a copy of MY LIFE from BookPeople to exchange their book for a voucher.

If you have purchased a voucher in advance, BookPeople recommends lining up between 8:00 am and 9:00 am. BookPeople will open for business at 9:00 am on Thursday May 5thâ??but getting in line early is a good idea. BookPeople employees will be making announcements about the event and serving coffee on the line.

*Customers must purchase a voucher in order to have a book signed. Books previously purchased at BookPeople may be exchanged for a voucher
*President Clinton will not be able to personalize any books
