Delisi Opposes Health Care For the Elderly

The state agency in charge of Medicaid, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), had planned to expand STAR+PLUS to the other urban areas of the state. STAR+PLUS has demonstrated positive outcomes of care, has generated savings for the state, and is a leading model nationally for integrating care for this particularly vulnerable and expensive population.
