At least two weeks ago the blogs were reporting about the bill by Phil King that would elminiate muncipal wireless programs. The Chronicle leads today's coverage with this big scoop:

Hey, Eric Berger...read the Internets every once in a while you might be able to keep up with what's going on in 1997.
King said pretty clearly in committee that he doesn't have problems with hot spots. He has problems with municipalities selling Wi-Fi. They were supposed to produce language to clarify that. Did that change?
