Ain't Grassroots a bitch, sometimes?

Dang, two "national" category posts in one day. Our self-esteem is low. We couldn't pass up sharing the commercials that are about to start running demanding DeLay's resignation, though. In case you didn't get the action alert. Our favorite are the unflattering photos used in the ads.

The Public Campaign Action Fund is asking for donations to get these ads running.

But, as a colleague of mine said in the New York Times today, a fish rots from the head, and DeLay is certainly the symbol of all the money-rot in Congress. If he is allowed by Republicans to stay, it gives all the big money politicians and their lobbyist friends freedom to buy and sell policy at will. That's why we have to win this fight. The stakes are too high.

I love the way the Republicans are rallying around DeLay as if he's the victim of some vicious smear campaign. HE BROUGHT EACH AND EVERY BIT OF IT UPON HIMSELF! If he were a Democrat, there would be six special prosecutors by now.

Well, it's not blowjob in the oval office...but a litany of ethics violation is something we guess. Funny, how it's ok to have "Principles" sometimes and not all the time, isn't it?
