We have been avoiding the Senate for the most part, what with HB 2 and HB 3 and HB 1212 and HB 7 (We hate we know those by their number. For those of you that don't they are Education, Taxes, Parental Consent and Worker's Comp) We're leaving out the whole casino crap for now.

So, over to the Senate. We're going to get acquainted with you and start building shrines to some of you and voodoo dolls of others to take care of this clusterfuck that is HB 3. If you don't fix it, you screw it up for the entire country, not just Texans.

For decades Republicans far and wide have been able to refer to Massachusetts as Tax-achussets (a hilARIous joke that never gets old) and if you let stand the highest sales tax in the country and taxes on snack foods, bottled water, car washes and Botox (DMN)it's going to be a lot easier to say TAXes instead of Texas for pundits around the nation.

So, please...if not for the children, for your own dignity. Fix this.
