Ain’t go no job…

June 3, 2011 Uncategorized

The jobs report was released Friday morning showing a very dismal picture of no job growth. Economists had predicted a very low number of 190,000 new jobs in May and the report shocked everyone with only 54,000 new jobs reported in May. It is predicted that the U.S. needs to create 150,000 new jobs every month just to keep up with population growth. Unemployment rose to 9.1% and the fear is that here we go again with more bad economic news.

Maybe it is taking theĀ  country 2 years to come to terms with the bad economy. There were short term fixes pushed out by the government, but where are the long term plans? We are a nation in debt up to our eyeballs and the politicians are fighting over ending Medicare.

Perhaps we are not being clear enough to the politicians in both Austin and Washington. I do not give three sh*ts about Medicare, redistricting, abortion, DOMA, Planned Parenthood, PBS and a very long list of other distractions. What I do care about is getting this debt under control and getting America back to work! If big oil has a lot of money laying around tax the crap out of it and use it to put people to work! Build some roads, build a bridge, but do something. The petty grandstanding and the media’s focus on cock shots is not helping.

The whole theme of my view of politics and government is my desperate cry for leadership. I am always disappointed.

Our politicians continue to totally focus on BS while the RS (real sh*t) keeps on flowin’. I don’t know which is worse, the politicos that spew it or the voters that swallow it.
