Gripe, Moan, Complain: Repeat

Being busy running two companies and having a kid in college distracts me from just about everything these days. It has to be a really big political story to get me all up in arms or reaching for my Xanax. I find it difficult for me to do more than roll my eyes at politics because the absurdity is exhausting.
Egypt is fascinating. I can’t believe Google bought the place. And Senator Watson with his stupid sexting bill. I can’t believe someone had to actually write that down and file that thing. I mean, from Warren Chisum I would expect that sort of ridiculous-ness. But, really…we’re talking about closing schools is sexting really our biggest problem in Texas right now? Speaking of big problems in Texas, what band of idiots can’t manage a power grid for a salary of $400,000 a year? I could manage the HELL out of a power grid for $320k tops.
How in the world can we keep up? I know I can’t. Life got hard. I can’t remember I had the time to see the bottom of a bottle of champagne!
