The comptroller released a report today that put the budget shortfall at $27 Billion, $2 billion more than on the edge of falling off a cliff, California.
Even with the $9.4 billion rainy day fund, the state would still not have enough to maintain services at their current levels, which would run $99 billion according to agency budget requests.
And so let it begin. Who will be the first to put lipstick on this pig?
