Who shot Congresswoman Giffords?
Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was shot Saturday, January 9, 2011 point blank in the head while hosting a “Get to know your congressman” event held at a Tuscon area grocery store. Twelve people, including members of her staff, were shot.
Initial reports say a shooter is in custody.
What in the hell? It is very difficult not to jump to a conclusion about what crazy ass Tea Party “Patriot” did this, knowing how cuckoo people in Arizona are and how the GOP has given a wink and a nudge to bolster these types of simple-minded people that are easily manipulated.
I would rather this be some lone schizophrenia patient than to think someone was politically motivated to kill a sitting congresswoman. If it is the case, this is a game changer with those people that whip simple-minded people up into these frenzies. Rush, Beck, O’Reilly and to all the elected officials that use this type of rhetoric to incite these people.
