Texas to Texans: Brother, can you spare $25 billion?
Well, now that the campaigning is over the budget surplus and all the talk of how Texas has weathered this recession better than any other state is done, the truth finally comes out. In the New York Times, no less! The outrage of the liberal media reporting on the lies of Rick Perry and every other person that ran for office in Texas this past year!
Oh how the days of fiscal responsibility seem like a distant memory now. I especially love how the New York Times mentions that Texas cuts budgets that hurt its poorest citizens. The cuts to health care mean Texas ranks near the bottom of the list with spending on health care on near the top on the number of uninsured. But, wait, there’s more! Texas also ranks near the bottom in dollars spent per student in public education. Ah, raising more idiots and people destined to be uninsured. Way to plan for the future, Tex.
It boggles my mind how people that are Native Texan are so damn proud of it! That stupid flag and star is everywhere. I don’t see how being proud of Texas these days is something you’d advertise.
Yee-HAW! We bankrupted educashion! Hot Diggity, Ain’t nobody but the rich white folk in Texas got no insurance!
Republican, Democrat, Independent or whatever you are…If you’re a Texan, you ought to be outraged. Just don’t ask anybody to raise a tax. Unless, it’s a tax on the poor! Let’s legalize gambling! Bwahahahaha.
On second thought, maybe I am proud of Texas. It’s such a beautiful model. Screw poor people out of their money and give them nothing in return. That really is the American Dream. God Bless Texas!
