My give a damn is broken

I remember when Texas politics was exciting! Full of stupidity and irrational behavior. Now, the only things I hear about are that dumbass Rick Perry shooting a coyote and someone naming a gun after him or those ‘tards at the TEA letting the school books get all mucked up with witchcraft and fables and revisionist history.

God, this state can suck sometimes.

So, when I post stuff it’ll be about whatever the F&*k I feel like writing about. (Remember when I used to just type out the cuss words? God, I got old…and sober)

Maybe the “PinkDome” will be my bald head as I stand on the web version of the street and shake my finger and cars that drive too fast down my street. Or, maybe y’all will piss me off and I’ll get drunk and tell you what I really think.

    1. If you’re not telling us what you really think, then what the hell are you doing here?

    2. Sobriety is overrated

    3. Having quite recently hatched to the Pacific Northwest following my 30-year incubation in Texas, the most I can say of Texas politics is: Holy Fuck! Anything less than overwhelming head-spinning fist-shaking outrage is simply a failure to understand the issues. And that’s just for the SBoE.

Texas Politics is still briming with stupidity and irrational behavior….We have a guvnor running for president, a light gov who has more shirts than Brooks Brothers, and a comptroller who can’t figure out a budget, much less balance one. Oh yea, we have an AG who rails against “evil trial lawyers” and “lawsuit abuse”, but is twisting his shorts to figure out a way to profiteer off the BP oil spill.

As for irrational behavior, it’s still little early in the election cycle….

Look at the thinly veiled gambling trial balloons being floated like turds in a swimming pool. Riddle me this– if gambling is the be all and end all for fixing broken budgets, why is California teetering on the brink of bankruptcy? California has 54 casinos (2nd only to Nevada BTW) which, in 2006, raked in $7 Billion from stupid people.
