DADT, Totes in the news
Poor President Obama. He campaigned on all this “Hope and Change” and now people are holding him to it, and it’s so annoying for him. Since the gay rights organization, HRC, doesn’t really do anything with all the millions of dollars the gays give them at black-tie galas, some of the gays have taken to heckling the President directly.
It’s a shame when your black-tie fundraiser to support gay rights isn’t really supporting anything, isn’t it?
So, now, there is a compromise on the DADT policy on the agenda. A compromise sounds like a reasonable idea. It’s too bad that reason is long missing from politics, though.
