Not every news story needs your comments
There is a tragic story in today’s AAS that details a traveling saleswoman’s awful car accident, subsequent near death and the workman’s compensation denial of her claim. It is a factual re-telling of a story that could apply to any person that gets in their car to do any business.
Then there are the comments. Yahoos, idiots, mouth-breathers, and the people that somehow managed to blame “liberals” for the entire thing. Then there are the “liberals” that blame the “wingnuts” for all of the injustice in the world. It’s exhausting, and ridiculous. Not every story needs your comments. Sometimes it is ok just to read something and then say to yourself, “Gee, that’s sad,” and then move on.
