KBH: The race to Austin

July 16, 2009 Uncategorized

We’ve known KBH is going to run for governor for what, three years now? So, it’s no surprise that she’s raised quite a bit to get the action started. Governor Perry’s fundraisers have lined up behind him as well in a blistering race of  “What Republican donor is richer than the next?”

A race between KBH and MoFo Perry is like the race for the bottom. Either boring our ridiculous and either way we all lose.

Wouldn’t you like to meet someone like this:

Perry’s top contributor was Houston philanthropist and fundraiser Mica Mosbacher, who gave $225,000. Mosbacher, a Perry appointee to the University of Houston System Board of Regents, is married to Robert Mosbacher, a former U.S. Commerce Secretary. (AAS)

I’d like to meet Mica, because I’m pretty sure I could swindle her out of my retirement fund. Who gives Rick Perry a quarter of a million dollars?!?!

I cannot imagine giving a political candidate a hudred thousand dollars and not even getting a bridge or highway named after me, much less a little grab ass. That’s a lotta dough, and I like to get my money’s worth!

Debra Medina is also running for the Republican nomination, and unlike the other two she doesn’t have gobs of money to buy an election with. All she has is common sense and conservative values, both of which Perry and Hutchison have a deficit in. Check her site out at http://www.medinafortexas.com.
