South Cackalacky Governor Sanders really screws up

My home folk are wagging tongues over Governor Sanford’s brazen affair with an “exotic” and the amount of pearl clutching by the ladies who lunch is immeasurable. While the offense runs deep in the Deep South, the pride surrounding Mrs. Sanford and her reaction to the controversy is the real hero in this story.

No wilting flower, Mrs. Sanford is a true embodiment of a Steel Magnolia. Gracious, but firm and resolute. She is nobody’s jilted woman. Her strong words and actions prove she is a formidable and respectable woman. When she told the press that Mark’s political career was none of her concern we all cheered her on. She did not appear at his side during an awkward press conference. Bucking the trend started with Hillary and the followed by Mrs. McGreevy, Mrs. Craig and so many other wives that succumbed to the pressures of political ambition and stood wild eyed and in disbelief by their cheating husband.

I lost a lot of respect for Hillary when she seemingly so easily forgave Bill and I praise Jenny Sanford for being the strong woman I know she is. Walk on, Sister Woman!
