Hello Special, My Old Friend.

Ugh, damn D’s. Why in the world are you causing such a stink over Voter ID? Nobody gives a crap about it anyway. Now you’ve messed it up for everybody that wanted to go home and rejoice in the glory of the most boring legislative session in memory.
But, no. You gotta ruin it for everybody. [...]

Open your legs, GOP, let ‘em slide right in

I find it ironic that someone would appeal to the GOP to not be a whorehouse, when that is all they’ve been for the ten years. Whoring out the party to the far-right just for political power. But, if they suddenly are “born again” with a newfound purity, so be it. It’ll be a newfound [...]

President Obama adds thoughtful comment to abortion debate.

Catholics and pro-life activists protested President Obama’s commencement speech at Notre Dame. Over twenty people were arrested in the protests and the president’s speech was disrupted three times, including once when someone shouted “stop killing out children.” Really? Arizona State University did not give President Obama an ‘honory degree’ when he spoke at their commencement, saying that his “body of work is yet to come.” Sure, I get that…being elected President of the United States of America is just an ordinary accomplishment in one’s life and not anything to be so proud of [...]

Macy, Eva Longoria, Donatella Versace, Tom Cruise, et cetera ad nauseum was interesting. It was nice to be at a party with the celeberities and have a conversation about how excited we were [...]

Did you see me on The View?

How we got roped into the “search for Whoopi” I don’t quite remember, but clearly we made enough of an impression to be included three different times in The View’s highlight reel. I totally embrace the humiliation. Full recap of the event coming!

Alabama State House Floods

The State House in Alabama flooded, causing the House and Senate to recess as power was shut off in the building. Heavy rains roared through Alabama’s Capital yesterday and flooded the basement and the parking lot for state legislators.
Sadly, it couldn’t wash the stains of ignorance out of the building.
