The new Texas driver’s license has been released. It features many “Inspector Gadget” tools to thwart would-be countefitters. Such as being so ugly no one would want to try and replicate the thing.
That script font for the word “Texas” is just too close to a comic sans and that kills me. Note to everyone: Stop having fun with fonts. Just choose Helvetica, Arial or Times New Roman.
Next, I knew I recognized that skyline in the background. It’s Austin! Hey Austin! But what about the huge percentage of Texans that live on farm in the barren, dust-covered burnt earth areas in West Texas? Is a big high-rise downtown really going to depict their version of what Texas is?
It’s cute and all, but it sure seems a little busy. Clearly, the graphic designer was forced to do this hideosity.
