Kinky, I love ya. You’re funny (sometimes) and you hired people I really like last time you ran. But please, please, please do not run for governor. Don’t explore the possibility, don’t say pithy things in response to serious questions. Don’t make a documentary about running for governor. Don’t. Just don’t.
These are serious times and we need serious leaders. We’ve had a joke in the governor’s chair for way too long now. Two too close together if you ask me. Bush and then Perry. We don’t need another joke another laughingstock or another “character” in Austin. We need a leader. We need a courageous person to make Texas great again. We are begging for it, we are pleading for someone besides Rick Perry of Kay Bailey Hutchison.
I don’t care if it is a Democrat or Republican, I just want a governor I can believe in. I want someone I can respect, someone I can trust and someone the inspires me to be the best citizen I can be. Please, if you want to do anything spend some time, money and effort to help us all find that person and then do everything we can to get them elected.
Texas deserves it.
Agreed. Kinky has popularity confused with electability. He only thins out the Dems’ voter bloc, and that harms Texans. Kinky, if you truly love Texas, please use your popularity to help get a progressive, qualified candidate elected this time.
