Can I get a reach around?
Frank Rich’s piece in the NY Times today was interesting in that head tilting kind of way. He puts forth that the economy is his “Katrina moment” but he doesn’t know it yet. Rich goes on to describe the populist rage, something I think he may understand in theory but wouldn’t know if it really bit him on the ass.
The outrage isn’t directed at the president, it’s directed at the sheer greed that got us here. You can’t place all of the blame and so there is just a broad spectrum of outrage. Personally, I’d settle for a few public hangings, serious “claw back” measures and free office space for taxpayers at the AIG Buildings..oh, and the courtesy of a reach around thankyouverymuch.
