Governor Perry appointed Sue Evenwel of Mt. Pleasant presiding officer of the Texas Funeral Service Commission. Ms. Evenwell brings a lot of great qualities to the Herculean effort of regulating the funeral homes and funeral directors of Texas…she is the owner of Designin’ Women Custom Embroidery. Senator Zaffirini complained about the ban on funds for embryonic stem cell research and Lucio complained [...]

Obama to GM CEO---You're fired, bitch

Obama to GM CEO—You’re fired, bitch

The Obama Administration will announce a new auto-industry recovery plan on Tuesday. Word came out today that the CEO of General Motors is resigning as part of the restructuring deal. In other words Obama told him to hit the door, jack and don’t you come back no more no more.
I’m sure a lot of laissez-faire [...]

Blinded with science

First of all let me acknowledge that it takes me about four times as long to recover from a hangover as it used to…eep! Getting older reality check, complete.
So yesterday I was barely keeping up with the whole curriculum debate over evolution. I love that the press calls the people opposed to teaching evolution in [...]
