The president has issued an executive order detailing martial law in the event of a catastrophic event. Bush says the new plan for dealing with a catastrophic emergency would “enable a more rapid and effective response to and recovery from a national emergency.” (Yeah, the feds did such a bang up job after Katrina). As the article quotes someone as saying, for a party so opposed to big government this sure sounds awfully big. How can we not be suspicious? I am going to be so pissed off during martial law I just know it!
