Your Boss is an Asshole
We’ve noticed quite a few series and stories and contests about worst boss stories. We thought we’d jump in. Anyone brave enough to share bad boss stories? We’ve all had them. Ever had a raging drug addict call you at 3 a.m. and threaten your life? Ever been told you have to work all weekend without getting any comp time during the week? Ever had a boss throw a stapler at you?

can’t complain about my boss… she gave me three days off for So by So What.
I once had a boss that enjoyed publicly berating her staff. Needless to say my blood pressure was much higher than most 40 year olds is, Working in her office was like walking through a mine field - one false move and you were blown to bits. The medicine prescribed by the doc to control the subsequent hypertension had a diuretic in it that caused me to have to pee frequently. Which, of course, caused me to receive a tongue lashing “for going to the bathroom too frequently.” Self employed now….
What’s comp time? That’s crazy talk.
Having had a great job for three years with the best bosses ever makes it hard to remember those assholes from back in the day.
We get four weeks vacay to start 12 sick days and 2 personal days and full medical dental and eye.
We have a ping pong table and a basket ball net and an indoor grill.

Why didn’t you report your boss to the higher ups at Piggly Wiggly? Surely they do not put up with that kind of behavior at the PW I know and love.
I think I may been one of ‘those’ bosses. It was the bit about throwing the stapler. I never threw a stapler, but mobile phones and files were all the time traveling through the air.
I’m much better now…I usually just throw candy (dots and mike&ike’s can sting like a bitch if you throw them hard enough)
