Austin Judge says no to TXU (and Perry)

February 21, 2007 Uncategorized

State District Judge Stephen Yelonosky (hey, I think I built campaign signs with him a couple years back) has ruled that Perry can’t “fast-track” the process for the setting up of TXU coal plants.
Perry’s esteemed response:

“No one should be surprised that a single liberal Austin judge would rule against Governor Perry and his efforts to increase energy capacity in Texas,” he said in a statement.

Those goldurn liberal judges . . . does this mean the system works?

The way this reads it looks like Governor Perry is talking in first person, oh, I really hope he starts doing that.
“Governor Perry is NOT, I repeat, NOT offering himself up as a VP candidate” Perry said after every speech.
